Below, you will find a list of the successes and positive happenings that have occurred in our division throughout the 2009-2010 Key Club term.
Officer Training Conference (OTC): Miracle Minute
At OTC, our division's officers (and a few Kiwanians) raised $28.89 for the For Kids Foundation!
May Divisional Council Meeting (DCM): Cards for Pediatrics Ward
At the May DCM, each Key Clubber who attended handmade two cards for the sick children in the Pediatrics Ward of St. Mary's Hospital!
June Divisional Council Meeting (DCM): Park Cleanup
At the June DCM, several Key Clubbers helped to pick up trash and recyclable bottles/cans in Idlewild Park!
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation Fundraiser
At the Alex's Lemonade Stand fundraiser on July 11, we raised an astounding $173 for childhood cancer research!
Food Collection for Anderson Elementary School Students & Their Families
Between the neighborhood collection and the store collection, we raised approximately 5 grocery carts' worth of fruit, vegetables, and also non-perishable food items!!! We also raised $117 for the families, even though we weren't planning on fundraising!
July Divisional Council Meeting (DCM): Cards for Firefighers
At the July DCM, each Key Clubber who attended made a few cards for local firefighters, thanking them for their hard work and dedication. This project supported the District Project, C.A.R.E., by acknowledging everyday heroes!
D23/45 Key Club Car Wash
At the Car Wash on August 8, we raised over $500 for our Adopt-a-Family project for this coming holiday season!
D23/45 Key Club Barnes & Noble Book Fair
At the Book Fair on September 19, we raised $190 for Pediatric Trauma Prevention and Adopt-a-Family!
